We found the restaurant & bar deals so you don't have to

As we said in our podcast, the concrete jungle is rife with delicious, budget-friendly options. Carmines and Crooked Knife are two of them.
Carmines is a family-friendly restaurant with locations in Times Square and the Upper West Side. Carmines is well-known for its "Italian wedding"-style huge serving size. Not only is the cuisine delicious, but the environment and service are second to none! There are several gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives on the menu. BANG for your BUCK? We vote YES!
Looking for a restaurant and bar open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., with a weekend brunch and daily drink specials? Crooked Knife has three locations in New York: 2nd Avenue, West 14th Street, and East 30th Street. The menu includes items such as quesadillas and burgers, as well as Brie + Walnut Toastie and Fettuccine Primavera. Tuesday through Friday, from 4-7 p.m., have a well-deserved drink at happy hour! Looking for a Brunch special? For $47, you receive an entrée plus 90 minutes of unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Marys.
