Gatsby

This 1920s-themed restaurant is sure to wow you the minute you walk through the doors. They serve contemporary American food with a whole lot of classy vibes. While it's hard to go wrong when ordering, we recommend their Chicken Pot Pie and pasta!

The Bullpen

Nationals fans only! Just kidding...DC's largest outdoor venue is located just outside the Nationals Park which makes it the perfect spot to hang out before or after catching a game. They even offer Home Game Happy Hour where you can get $5 drinks throughout the 3rd-7th innings during any home game. Cheers to baseball and cheap drinks!

Red Derby

Did someone say 24/7 happy hour? Red Derby has the best prices in the city when it comes to some great drinks! Specialty beers and tequila or whisky shots are only $3.50--all day, everyday. Wednesdays they also have extra deals like half-priced food and $5 bubbly.

Bar Charley

This rustic bar and restaurant is located in Dupont Circle and only a few blocks from the Red Line on the Metro. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with great deals on drinks. Modays are the best days to visit with happy hour being all night long. Their happy hours include $7 specialty drinks that are well worth the post-work rush from work!

Hop-On Hop-Off Bus

This bus tour offers four different ticketing options: single-day, two-day, all access two-day, and a two-hour night tour. There is a ticket option for every type of traveler so definitely check out this transportation option if you're looking to get a lot done in a short amount of time!

Sporting Events

DC is known for its baseball! Nationals Park is located in The Navy Yard just south of the Capital and National Mall. The Navy ard is an up-and-coming place with lots to do before and after catching a Nationals game.

Christmas in the City

DC during Christmas is such a magical place. There are Christmas trees and bells and hot chocolate stands around every corner. Every hotel has beautiful Christmas lights and trees in the windows.

The National Portrait Gallery - A Smithsonian

Out of all the plethora of Smithsonian and museums in DC, our expert's favorite is by far the National Portrait Gallery on the National Mall.
